Graduate Credit through Manhattanville University

Tuition and Fees

  • Tuition: $375 per graduate credit
  • Registration Fee: $60 per semester
  • Participants are responsible for all tuition and required college fees as published by Manhattanville University.
  • This represents a 64% reduction from the regular summer combined semester tuition.

Registration Instructions

Students may register online using Manhattanville University’s Instant Enrollment portal:

Registration Steps

  1. Navigate to the Instant Enrollment page.
  2. Select Location: PWISTA (you do not need to enter dates or course numbers).
  3. Browse the available courses and select the course you wish to take.
  4. Add the appropriate section and click Next.
  5. Enter your personal information, accept the waiver, and click Submit.
  6. Complete the Additional Details section and submit.
  7. Enter your payment information.
  8. Complete your course registration.

You will receive a confirmation email once your registration has been submitted.

Your Manhattanville University login credentials will be sent in a separate welcome email within 24–48 business hours.

Graduate Credit Requirements

To earn graduate credit, participants must complete both the course requirements and a graduate project.

Course Requirements

  1. Attend and actively participate in 30 hours of workshop sessions.
  2. Complete a research paper that includes a comprehensive lesson plan based on one of the workshop units.

Research Paper Requirements

The paper should include:

  • Introduction – Introduce the selected topic and explain how the paper will be developed.
  • Workshop Review and Reflection – Reflect on the complete workshop experience.
  • Content Summary – Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the science topic selected for the lesson plan.
    • Include substantially more content than would be presented during classroom instruction.
  • Complete Lesson Plan, including:
    • New York State Learning Standards addressed
    • Lesson plan approved by the graduate professor
    • Laboratory activity or homework assignment (with answer key)
    • Assessment
    • Student notes and handouts
  • Conclusion – Summarize the goals of the lesson and reflect on the expected learning outcomes.

Due Date

The research paper is due 14 days after the completion of the course.
